So, guess what I’ve been up to lately? I hit the jackpot at the flea market and a couple of yard sales—Easter-themed vintage finds galore! Picture this: I’ve got these adorable little whimsical plates with scalloped edges, featuring Easter bunnies, lambs and chicks. They’re seriously the cutest things ever!
And to add a touch of elegance, I scored some vintage Johnson Brothers Rose Chinz China with its floral pattern it just screams spring! I have layered the plates on top of rustic rattan chargers.
But wait, there’s more. I managed to snag some vintage Indiana glass green goblets that are just perfect for sipping on some refreshing drinks during our Easter gathering. And to tie it all together, I’ve got this lush green velvet tablecloth that’s going to be the perfect backdrop for my Easter feast.
Now, let’s talk about the pièce de résistance: one of my favorite yard sale finds a stunning Vintage Henri Chrisdon Rabbit statue, I have nestled a vase inside its lettuce basket, filling it with a fresh floral arrangement with all the colors of spring. I am talking daffodils tulips hydrangeas you name it I just love fresh flowers especially spring ones and voilà! A captivating floral centerpiece emerged, stealing the show!
Now to set the mood, I’ve collected a mix of different candlestick holders, all adorned with light green tapered candles. Just imagine the cozy glow they’ll cast over our Easter dinner—it’s going to be magical.
I can’t wait to gather my family around this table and create memories that will last a lifetime. There’s just something about mixing old and new, vintage and modern, that makes these moments even more special. So here’s to a Easter celebration that’s as unique and charming as the treasures I found at the flea market and yard sales.
But you know what’s really special about Easter? It’s not just about the decorations and the food. It’s about coming together as a family and remembering the true reason we celebrate: the risen savior, Jesus Christ. So as my family gathers around this beautiful table, our family will take time to reflect on the sacrifice Jesus made for us along with love and grace He’s shown us. Here’s to a joyous Easter filled with love, laughter, and gratitude for all our blessings. Cheers to making memories and celebrating together!
